DOGS CHALLENGE AUCKLAND ATHLETES

Can any Auckland sprinter beat a whippet over 100yds even taking: 80yds start? That question may be answered at the forthcoming Auckland Show whippet races. A challenge has been issued on behalf of the dogs. Three athletes can be accommodated on the course and both the amateur and the professional bodies have the question under consideration.
