ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Paeroa Defence Rifle Club has elected the following officers:—Patrons, Messrs. A. M. Samuel, M.P., and E. W. Porritt; president, Mr. E. Edwards; deputy-president, Mr. P. R. Hubbard; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. Simmonds; auditor, Mr. W. L. Lawrence; handicapper, Mr. H. Simmonds; selectors, Messrs. N. C. Busby, H. Simmonds and A. Jenkinson; committee, Messrs. R. I. Wells, A. Bridge, A. A. Jenkinson, W. A. Reid, R. W. Medhurst. The position of range officer was left in the hands of the committee to fill.
