NO. 10. D. W. GRIFFITH TY W. GRIFFITH, pioneer pro- • ducer, is too well-known to need an introduction. He has been responsible for many successes, and for pointing the direction to stardom for many stars. The case of Dorothy and Lillian Gish in “The Birth of a Nation” will be remembered. There are many artists in America to-day who have to thank “D.W.” for a helping hand. Here is his signature:
