When covering dress-hangers, try using two widths of jazz-garter elastic instead of gathering ribbon. This is an easier way and much more effective. The most obstinate sore throat may be relieved by gargling a cup of warm water in which a teaspoon of sulphur has been mixed. Relief is almost instantaneous.
