AEOLIAN ORCHESTRA

TUESDAY’S CONCERT The programme to be submitted by the Aeolian Orchestra at its fourth concert of the season, to be given at the Town Hall on Tuesday next, is composed mostly of request items sent in by subscribers and patrons at the last concert. The result is reflected in a popular and varied programme which should not fail to give wide satisfaction. The selection from Verdi’s “II Trovatore” was the popular choice, although there was also a good deal of unanimity in regard to other selections. The soloists will be Miss Alma McGruer. who will sing the popular “Mussetta’s Song” from “La Boheme” (Puccini) and “Villanette” (Acqua). Mr. Simpson’s items will be “The English Rose,” from “Merrie England” (German), and Sanderson’s “Lorraine.” The orchestra will be under the direction of Mr. W. E. Webb and Miss Maida Hooker, A.R.C.M., will be the accompaniste. The box plan is now open at the L. and F. Piano Agency.
