BOHEMIAN ORCHESTRA
PLEBISCITE CONCERT The plebiscite taken among subscribers of the Bohemian Orchestra for Thursday’s concert has resulted in a very interesting selection, which should not fail to attract a large attendance at the Town Hall. It is pleasing to note that the programme selected is of a high standard and under the direction of Mr. Colin Muston the orchestra can be relied upon to provide the nucleus of a very enjoyable concert. The programme is as follows: Scenes from “Gondoliers” (Sullivan); “Unfinished” Symphony (Schubert); "Tannhauser” Overture (Wagner); Morceaux “Die Hummel” (RimskyKorsakov; “Liebestraume” (Liszt); “Rhapsodies No. 2” (Liszt), and “Sarabande and Allegro” (Corelli) and “Lai'go” (Handel), played by the violin choir.
The soloists will be Mr. Ernest Snell and Master David Lunny. Tickets for this last concert of the season may be obtained from the secretary, Mr. W. J. Caddell, C/o. E. and F. Piano Agency, Ltd.
