LUNA PARK OPENING

MANY NEW FEATURES Luna Park opened for the summer season to-day, and again this evening the fun will continue. Many new features are included this season. In addition to the scenic railway, “Dodge ’Em,” Caterpillar and Whip of last year, are the new scenic river-caves, the goofy house and the fun factory. Over the caves is a promenade terrace on which refreshments are served. Another new feature is the Palais de Danse, the only open-air cabaret in Auckland, and the Luna Park Silver Band. Every evening a free concert will be staged. The attraction arranged for this evening will be a programme of dances by Miss Gwenth McNaughton and her specially trained corpe de ballet. Of special interest to patrons is a new innovation, the special cards of concession tickets, admitting the holder to the park free, and also making a big saving in the round of pleasures.
