No Public Engagements
GOVERNOR-GENERAL'S ILLNESS Press Association. WELLINGTON, Friday, j It is expected that the GovernorGeneral will be confined to Government House for some time, and on the recommendation of his medical advisers His Excellency has cancelled his more immediate public engagements. The garden party, which was to have been held at Government House next Tuesday, has been postponed to a date ; to be announced, but other Government ’ House functions for which invitations were issued by Their Excellencies for the last week in November will take place, unless notification is made later ] to the contrary.
