"I was on my way down to see a solicitor.” she said, “and I :met a cousin, who told me that her brother died six months ago.” “So X made off to the nearest hotel, she added. She was fined £1 for drunkenness and £5 for breaking her order. The default was fixed at 24 days’ imprisonment.
