CECILIA’S LAPSE
IN HOTEL BELATED DEATH NEWS T EARNING of a family bereave-i-J ment yesterday, Cecilia Ah Lao aged 36, made for the nearest hotel, forgetting her prohibition order. She pleaded guilty at the Police Court to-day to charges of drunkenness and breach of her prohibition order. "I was on my way down to see a solicitor.” she said, “and I :met a cousin, who told me that her brother died six months ago.” “So X made off to the nearest hotel, she added. She was fined £1 for drunkenness and £5 for breaking her order. The default was fixed at 24 days’ imprisonment.
