ROTORUA EXCURSIONS
POPULARISING RAILWAYS CHEAP RATES TO THERMAL CENTRE From November 26 the Railway Department will run week-end excursions to Rotorua. This is another innovation which will undoubtedly tend to make the railways more popular. Beginning on Saturday, November 26, the excursions will be continued until February 25, 1928. Every Saturday, from the date of starting, excursion fares will be avail- j able from Auckland, Cambridge, Paparuru, Thames, Tahawai and all intermediate stations on the direct route. Tickets will be available for return until the Friday following each date of issue, but passengers will not be allowed to break their journey except to change trains. SUNDAY TRAIN Residents of the Frankton Junction and Hamilton districts will be able to spend Sundays in Rotorua. An excursion train will leave Frankton Junction on Sunday morning at 7.30 o’clock arriving in Rotorua at 11.15. The return train will leave Rotorua at 5.30 o’clock in the afternoon j and will reach Frankton Junction at i 5.54 p.m. '
