Maungakiekie Club The links at both Titirangi and One Tree Hill will be kept in order for players throughout the summer. Competitions will be held each Saturday. To-morrow afternoon a medal round will be played at Titirangi. Post entries will be received. At One Tree Hill the second round of the eclectic handicap will be played. Te Awamutu Club (From Our Own Correspondent) TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. There was a good muster of members of the Te Awamutu Golf Club and friends at a card evening, at which opportunity was taken to close the 1527 season with presentation of trophies. After supper the club's president, Dr. Blundell.- icferred to the successes achieved by members during the season, and presented the trophies. He explained that the large number of trophies displayed was accounted for by the fact that the ladies section of the club was affiliated to the Ladles’ Golf Union, and as there were three grades of players, three trophies fo? eafh of the six months had been won Mrs Whyte was the winner of the 'ladies’ junior championship trophy, donated by Mr. M. McDermott, and Mrs. Covne won the senior championship tron£v In the men’s section the club Championship winner was M. Otway.
