CHEAPER BUTTER
AUCKLAND PRICE REDUCED T>UTTER is cheaper in the Auckland shops to-day. A reduction, of 1d a lb is announced, and the new prices come into operation to-day. Finest butter now costs the housewife 1s 9d a lb for cash over the counter. The reduction is due to movements on the Home market, where there was a recent drop in price. There is now an upward movement again.
