All other directors look at the players, while cameramen glue their eyes to the camera finder. But von Sternberg wants to see how the action looks through the camera only. ‘Underworld” is an original story by Bin Hecht, featuring George Bancroft,. Evelyn Brent, Clive Brook, Larry Semon, and Fred Kohler.
