STRAND, ONEHUNGA

VAUDEVILLE AND PICTURES A juvenile revue, entitled "Oh, Percy!” will be presented by Lester Burns at the Strand Theatre, Onehunga, to-night. “The Gilded Highway,” starring John Harron and Dorothy Devore, is a dramatic story, told simply and powerfully. This Master picture release will be shown to-night, and the screen version of W. B. Maxwell’s novel, “A Little More,” is as interesting entertainment in picture form as it was in book form. The story tells of the W’elby family, who unexpectedly come into a fortune, and whose heads are completely turned by unaccustomed wealth. How through suffering and tragedy they finally come to a realisation of true values in life is told in swift, vivid sequences in * The Gilded Highway.”
