A PARAMOUNT TRIUMPH During the filming of the Lucten Hubbard production, “Wings,” madMor Paramount under the direction of William Wellman, “Aces” of four natiow actively participated in the battle scenes. The aces appearing in the P» c *rv include Captain S. C. Campbell, Bntiiu ace, with a record of twenty plat**Ted Parsons, an American flyer, woo served with the French air service won his right to the term Ace” by a record of eighteen Baron Carl von Hartman, a Gen ace, and William Wellman, director oj the production, who served with i Lafayette Squadron and was bun*» brought down to crash up * n a .~Tj and be invalided home w'ith an Injures Baron von Hartman woq his record on the Russian front. In addition to the above, Dick Arjea youthful character lead, served duns* the war with the Royal Flying Corps of Canada, and still retains an hon ®\ ary commission as second Frank Tommick, who flew with Germans during the conflict, also P*v ticipated in the production: alaoV Grace, who saw service with the ■ Air Forces.
