BIBLE DISTRIBUTION
WORK IN AUCKLAND AUXILIARY FINANCIAL The Auckland Auxiliary of the British and Foreign Bible Society has, for 'the sixth successive year, shown an increase in receipts. In the report, which will be presented to the annual meeting of the auxiliary this evening, the receipts are set down at £2,501, an increase of £231 on those of the previous year. New branches have been formed at Birkenhead, Mangere, Waikino, and Ohaupo, while the following committees have been made branches: Turua, Kerepeehi, Ngatea, and Birkdalc, making a total of 54 branches, and a membership of 530. The distribution of the Gospel to patients in the Auckland Hospital and the Epsom Infirmary has been carried out with good results.
