MURDEROUS ARABS
RAID ON FRONTIER POST SEVENTEEN KILLED By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. BAGDAD, Monday. A Wahabi tribe from Central Arabia, under the leadership of a notorious Akhwan chief, attacked a post of the Irak frontier police, and killed Ere policemen and 12 labourers. Among the latter were included some of the women engaged in construction work. A policeman and a labourer escaped. A desert police detachment was despatched to the scene, and found the mutilated bodies. An Air Force squadron has punished the guilty tribes. —A. and N.Z.
