MAYOR’S FUNERAL

LATE MR. F. E. WILSON BUSINESS HOUSES CLOSED Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. The funeral of the late Mayor, Mr. F. E. Wilson, to-day was a most impressive ceremony, and was attended by representatives of public bodies from all parts of Taranaki. Business premises in the town were closed, and municipal services suspended. A choral service at St. Mary’s Church was attended by all the clergy of the archdeaconry. There was a Masonic service at the graveside.
