COUNCIL VACANCIES
FOUR CANDIDATES IN DEVONPORT
Nominations for the vacancy on the Onehunga Borough Council caused through the resignation of Mr. Edward Morton, closed at noon to-day. As Mr Morton wag the only nominee, the returning officer, Mr. H. A. Yockney, declared him duly elected. This. Mr. Morton has now completed. For the vacancy on the Devonport Borough Council four candidates have been nominated. They are Messrs. T. Walsh. F. J. 13. Langley, F. A. Thompson and H. Barnhill. The vacancy was caused by the resignation of Mr. P. Sheehan and it will be filled by an election to be held on November 28.
