f'PRILEE, a bay trotting gelding by The Triumph from a squaregaited mare named Jenny Lee (2.22 2-5) won a big handicap in America on September 20, at Oshkork, Wisconsin, when he made the opposition look cheap. Trilee has already topped off the 2.84 mile race record of his sire, by tramping eight furlongs in 2.74. The Triumph, however, holds a mile trial record of and this is now being assailed by his pacing son, Rags. The success of the progeny of Mr. B. P. Edwards’s sire in his native land will be heralded with pleasure by light-harness enthusiasts in the Dominion.
