SIR G. FULLER APPOINTED By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright SYDNEY, Tuesday. Sir George Fuller has been appointed Agent-General for New South Wales in London to succeed Viscount Chelmsford. —A. and N.Z. Sir George Warburton Fuller was born at Kiama, New South Wales, on January 22, 1861. He studied for the law and was called to the Bar on February 2, ISS4. He was member of the Legislative Assembly for Kiama, ISS9-91; member of the Federal House of Representatives for Illawarra, 3901-3; Minister of Home Affairs in the Deakin-Cook Government, June, 1909, to April, 1910. He re-entered State politics as member of the Legislative Assembly for Woolondelly in September, 1915; was Chief Secretary in the Holman Government, 1916-20; Acting-Premier, 1917: Leader of the Opposition, 1921-22; Premier, 1922-25. He was created a knight in 1919.
