A BREEZY MOTORIST W HEN C. F. Bennett, land agent, while driving a motor-ear, was struck by another car which crossed an intersection at a high rate of speed, he had something to say to the erring driver. That driver was Philip Lewis, who admitted his fault. He was charged at the Police Court to-day with negligent driving. Mr. Bennett, in evidence, said that after the collision Lewis said, “Leave this to me—l’m an expert in this game.” “What game” asked witness. “Smash-ups—smash-ups are my specialty.” “On the side of his car was the inI scription, ‘Smash-ups my specialty,’ ” added the witness. Lewis was fined £ 7 and ordered to pay £3 5s costs.
