FIRST MEETING OF SEASON The programme lias been issued today for the events at the Auckland : Motor Racing Club's meeting at Takapuna on December 10. Twelve races are scheduled, ranging from two to ; eight miles in distance and catering! for all types of machines. The detailed programme is as follows: — I. 350 c.c.—Handicap limit per lap. Tsec. Course, 5 miles. Prizes, £S, £3, £2l, ~2. 600 c.c. —Handicap limit per lap, 6sec. Course, 5 miles. Prizes, £B, £3, £z, £l. m ~ m . 3. 1,000 c.c. —Handicap limit per lajp, Ssec. Course, 5 miles. Prizes, £lO, £3, Class C.—Handicap, limit per lap, 6sec. Course, 5 miles. Prizes, £S, £3, £2. Open to machines and riders who have not lapped better than 56sec. 5. Class A. —Handicap limit per lap, Ssec. Course, 5 miles. Prizes, £lO, £3, £2, £l. Open for machines and riders who have lapped better than 56sec. 6. 250 c.c. —Handicap limit per lap, 4sec. Course, 3 miles. Trophy. 7. Class B. —Handicap limit per lap, osec. Course, 5 miles. Prizes, £12,. £3, £2, £l. Open for machines and riders which have lapped better than Sifsec., and which have not lapped better than 54 sec. 8. Class A.— Handicap limit per lap, 6sec. Course, 5 miles. Prizes, £l2. £3, £2, £l. Open for machines and riders which have lapped better than 56sec. 9. 175 c.c.— Handicap limit per lap, 4sec. Course, 2 miles. Trophy. 10. Invitation. —Open for the two riders of classes of A, B and C who have recorded the best lap time in their respective classes during the day. Course, 8 miles. Prizes, £l2, £4, £3,, with an additional prize of £1 for the winner of each class. No one winner to secure two prizes in this event. 11. Open. —Handicap limit per lap, 9sec. Course, 5 miles.
