GLEN EDEN BAZAAR
A bazaar in aid of the Glen Eden Anglican Church, and a club formed for the same purpose, realised £4l and £l4 respectively. The sale of work, opened by the Rev. Cable, of Henderson, was well pat.ronised. The stallholders were: Cakes, Mesdames Claridge and Waldron; produce, Mesdames J. Hepburne and Hodgkinson; sweets, Mrs. Game and Miss Hemming; ice cream, Mrs. E. Jones; afternoon tea, Mesdames Bartrum, Robin, and Kelly; fancy and toy stall, Mesdames Perry and Miller; drapery, Mesdames Davidson and Foster. Mrs. Bagnall made an efficient honorary secretary. The usual competitions were also a feature of the bazaar.
