HAMILTON GUN CLUB

THE REID CUP (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. The Hamilton Gun Club held its usual fortnightly shoot on Saturday. Results are as follow: No. 1 Shoot (six birds, 10 entries).— W. Howe shot the possible and won; J. McMiken was second. No. 2 Shoot (seven birds, 10 entries) —W. Howe and W. Woolven divided, both shooting the possible; W. O’Kane and J. McMiken followed with six each. R. T. Reid Cup (second heat, 10 birds, 11 entries). —F. R. Seddon and C. Seddon (father and son) shot nine each and divided. The third heat of the event will be shot on November 26. At present six or seven shooters are in the running for the cup. The gymcrack shoot was won bv J. McMiken, with six out of a possible seven. Two novice shoots were held during the afternoon, the first being won by J. Bogun and the second by Hr. McMiken, who shot four out of five.
