MR. DAY SUPPORTS LOAN WAITEMATA POWER POLL CONVERTED to the £BO,OOO _ loan proposal which he has hitherto opposed, Mr. H. Subject to guarantees and the carrying of the loan, extension to Taupaki was authorised by the board. Mr. Hayden expressed hopes that the Brown’s Bay extension would soon be guaranteed. Subject to the carrying of the loan the poles would be erected to Albany within four months.
