MISS T. HALPIN Miss T. Halpin, F.T.C.L., L.A.8., arrivel by the Corinthic in Wellington on October 26, and after a visit to Christchurch returned to Auckland this week. She has just completed a success- , ful two years’ study of piano, violin, j ’cello, and singing at the Royal Col- j lege of Music, London, in fulfilment of ■ the “Directors’ Exhibition,” which she was awarded in 1925. She was also granted the option of continuing at the college for a further two years. While In London, Miss Halpin had the advantage of studying with Tobias Matthay, London’s leading pianoforte teacher.
