FOR THE CITY MISSION

NOVEL ENTERTAINMENT At His Majesty’s Theatre a novel entertainment will be presented by Miss Cecil Hall, the well-known dancing teacher, on November 22, 23 and 24. The total proceeds of this production are to be devoted to the Rev. Jasper Calder’s City Mission Fund, and judging by rehearsals the show will be unusually brilliant, and exceptionally successful. A number of Auckland’s most talented artists are to appear in addition to Jasper’s Chorus and Miss Hall’s Corps cle Ballet.

Miss Hall, who studied dancing, music and art in the leading schools of Europe for many years, and who but recently returned from London with a host of new ideas, should be depended upon to evolve something entirely original and worth seeing. The frocks to be worn by her pupils are charming in themselves, and include many unique little ideas.
