I Peter McDougall, aged about 55, a j labourer, who was for many years a | blacksmith in Eltham, died in an am- | bulance on the way to the Hawera hos- j pital on Thursday afternoon. Rumours are current of an alleged | fracas and further developments are expected. An inquest will be held.
