UNCANNY OLD TARGET-SHIP

By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Received 10.51 a.m. Australians who are attached to the Atlantic Fleet for the purposes of gunnery training will next week be shooting at the uncanny, elusive old battleship Centurion which will be a target. A ship without a soul aboard, she has installed new and perfect apparatus to which the controlling destroyer can send a wireless ray, in obedience to which the Centurion will deviate, turn, increase speed, slow down, and in such ways keep the gunlayers busy. — A. and N.Z.
