I While scarcely possible to remove all sign of the oil, the marks may be obliterated to some extent by rubbing cornflour over the oil spots. This has the effect of taking out most of the oil. Otherwise to .repaper is the only thing. When papering a wall, be sure to use turpentine on the stain before putting on the paper.
