PRESBYTERIAN MODERATOR

REV. G. BUDD NOMINATED The Rev. George Budd was nominated last evening by the Auckland Presbytery as moderator designate of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. Mr. Budd is superintendent of Home Missions. In proposing Mr. Budd’s nomination, the Rev. D. C. Herron spoke of the splendid work he had been doing for the church for almost a quarter of a century. The proposal was heartily supported by a number of speakers and was carried unanimously. If elected by Assembly Mr. Budd will hold office for 12 months from November. 1928.
