MARQUESS’S GOLDEN WEDDING.—The Marquess and Marchioness of Aberdeen celebrated their golden wedding this week. The six bridesmaids and the best man (Earl Balfour) were present at a luncheon. Lady Aberdeen is probably the best- known- woman in the world, and has been for many years president of the International Council of Women, a federation with a membership running into millions. These photographs were lent by Miss Ellen Melville.
