KING COUNTRY CRICKET CONTROL

THE ANNUAL MEETING GAME IN HEALTHY CONDITION (From Our Own Correspondent) TAUMARUNUI, Monday. Air. F. M. Carroll, of Manunui, was voted to tlie chair at the annual meeting of the King Country Cricket Association. Teh annual report presented by the secretary, Mr. C. Halliday, disclosed that the game was in a healthy condition in the King Country, and that the prospects for the season were very bright. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. S. Sarah: chairman of meetings, Mr. F. M. Carroll: secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. H. Miller. It was decided that the competition games should commence on November 12 and that one-day matches be played, from 2 p.m. to 6.50 p.m., an extension of this time to be arrangeable between the two captains. Mr. F. M. Carroll was appointed selector.
