Persistent Drunkard.—Daniel South, who pleaded guilty at the Police Court to-day to his seventh charge of drunkenness within six months, was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment.
Stowaway in Court.—Henry .Tcseph Short, aged 39, who pleaded guilty at the Police Court to-day to a charge of stowing away on the R.M.S. Niagara at Vancouver, was remanded to appear again on Thursday for sentence.
