HELP FOR WIDOW’S CHILD When the Prince of Wales was at Trincomali during tis visit to Ceylon* he little thought that his hostess, Mr?. Templer, wife of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, would be imploring his aid. But Mr. Templer died later, and l,i ‘ widow was left with six children. She came to England, and after getting four of them into -chools at Wantage and Hertford, asked! the Prince for hi» votes so that one of her daughters might be admitted to the Royal infant Orphanage at Wanstead, to which he is a subscriber. The Prince did more than consentFinding that one of the Queen’s preaen factions to the orphanage vacant, he secured the place for lit ti€ Elaine Templer. She will not he lonely. Pier youngest sister. Syb'*. will enter the orphanage on payment until elected.
