CHILDREN’S PARTY

A GLEN EDEN SUCCESS The pupils and young friends of Miss Bagnall were her guests at a party given in the Anglican Church Hall, Glen Eden. Games, dancing, a competition and a dainty supper interested the young people during a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Amoug the guests were: Doreen Douglas, Gwen and Esma Rotherham, Violet Constable, Madge Errington, Lena Moore, Dolly Butterfield, Edith Smyth, Bell Strong, Sylvia and Merlyn Webb, Norah Robertson, Ethel Mclvor, Eileen Gracie, Merle MeClisky, Katie Fletcher, Jean Dunkin, Noeline Double, Inez Jones, Dorothy and Hilda Chilton, Jean and Muriel Twisto, and Bubbles and Maurien Bagnall. The competition was won by Miss Bell Strong and Violet Constable. Items as follow were particularly well received:—Solo dances by Madge Errington and Xolan Double; a recitation by Eileen Grave, and a song by Doreen Douglas.
