EMPIRE

“THE FIGHTING EDGE” “The Fighting Edge,” which is being shown at the Empire Theatre, introduces a delightful new screen team to film fans. Kenneth Harlan and Patsy Ruth Miller are co-featured in this exciting melodrama of the aliensmuggling industry. Mr. Harlan plays the Spanish-Irish hero who outwits the gang of smugglers, and Miss Miller the lovely and courageous heroine, who finds romance in the midst of danger when she goes in search of her father, who has been held a prisoner by the smugglers. There are thrills, laughs and a charming love story in "The Fighting Edge,” and the supporting cast adds to the exciting photoplay by their remarkably convincing performances. "Mr. Wu," starring Lon Chaney, will _also be screened to-night.
