TO-NIGHT'S CONCERT
“Vesti la giubba” (on with the mot- ; ley), the great tenor aria from j Leoncavallo’s “I Pagliacci,” will be Mr. Hislop’s big number at the third i concert to be given by the famous Scot- | tish tenor at the Town Hall this evening. In addition, Mr. Hislop will sing “Nessum Derma.” from Puccini’s last j opera, "lurandot”; “Like a Little Bird, Palladilhe; “From a Prison,” Hahn; “Minnelied,” Brahms; “Die Maincht,” Brahms: "Spring Waters,” Rachmaninoff: “Afton Water,” Hume; “Windy Nights,” Stanford; "Song of Palanquin Bearers,” Shaw: “Sigh No More,” Aiken.. Also favourite excerpts from ,;La ; -yTrjsc^,^ , C.arsuen.’- and
other operas. Favourite ballad numbers will be included as encores. Solos will also be contributed by Mr. Alberto Sciaretti, solo pianist. In view of the great success achieved by Mr. Mislop it has been decided to give a final concert at the Town Mall on Wednesday evening. On account of daylight saving, this evening’s and Wednesday evening s concerts will commence at 8.30 p.m. Day sales are available at. Mis Majr esty.’s .Theatre confectionery .
