ANOTHER “YOUTH” PICTURE
“ROLLED STOCKINGS” Another “youth” picture, the succes- ' sor to Paramount’s “Fascinating: Youth,” will be seen shortly. It’s title? j “Rolled Stockings.” And, if you ask “What’s in a name?” just listen. “Rolled Stockings” takes place for the most part in and around the campus of a well-known California University. The pep, enthusiasm and life usually connected with collegians, are : there. An exciting boat race provides a big punch at the finish. Pretty girls and j handsome undergrads run riot i throughout the story and advance re- | port tell us that those who enjoyed the initial “youth” comedy will go into raptures over “Rolled Stockings.” The Paramount junior stars. James Hall. Louise Brooks, Richard Arlen and Nancy Phillips, are featured. El Brendel provides liberal portions of comic relief Henry B. Walthall, famous on the screen ever since he played the part of “Little Colonel” in “The Birth of a Nation,” has been added to the cast of Lon Chaney’s new starring picture, “The Hypnotist.” He plays the role of an English aristocrat enmeshed in a strange plot involving a Scotland Yard mystery.
