FOUR HEAVY-WEIGHTS Professional boxing' seems to be excellent training for motion picture work. On the Paramount lot there are four former heavy-weights who at one time were in the limelight of the boxing world. Two of them appear in Thomas Meighan’s picture. “We’re All Gamblers.” Gunboat Smith played himself, as trainer and adviser to Mr. Meighan and A 1 Kaufman, who once fought Jack Johnson to a ten-round draw, takes the role of a heavy-weight j champion. In addition to being an actor Kaufman is also athletic in- ! struetor to Paramount stars and studio 1 employees. He had been in a number i of pictures, including Raymond Grif- j fith’s production "Wedding Bills “ Tom Kennedy, another Paramount actor, was once a prominent heavyweight, and at one time acted as trainer for Kaufman. Ed. Kennedy (no i relation of Tom), another heavy-weight, : has been in a number of productions’ for Paramount, and also plays in the ! Paramount picture, “We’re All Gamblers.” ._ j
