OPPONENT DISQUALIFIED “THE RABBIT-KILLER” NEWCASTLE, Friday. In a boxing match this evening at the Stadium ITeg. Trowern, New Zealand, 9st 131 b, defeated Jimmy Pearce, 10st 41b. Half-way through the 16th round Pearce was disqualified for using the “rabbit-killer” punch. He was warned several times, and when he again offended the referee took action..
