Meteorological observations taken at the Albert Park Observatory at 9 a.m.. to-day by Captain D. MpLeay, the Government Observer:— Barometer, 30.234 inches. Air temperature at 9 a.m., 61 degrees. Temperature in shade yesterday: maximum, 62 degrees; minimum, 54 degrees; maximum temperature in sun, 131 degrees. Bright sunshine yesterday, 4 hours, 15 minutes. Minimum temperature on grass, 48 degrees. direction of wind at 9 a.m., N.W. Velocity wind previous 24 hours, 123 miles. Rainfall during previous 24 hours, nil. Rainfall to date this month, .45 inches. NORTH ISLAND CONDITIONS
