GIRL GUIDES’ RALLY
FOUR-ACT PAGEANT
A Girl Guides rally will be held Saturday afternoon, Xovember !! when it is expected that t.OOO Gib4m and between 400 and 500 Brownies wii be present.
The main item will be a pageant:: Tour acts. The first act will be tin old Greek ideal of physical fitness, t! second, the ideal of the Knights,; King Arthur in helping those in dang: and distress, the third, the ideal t‘. Robin Hood and his men of Greenwood. and the last act the ideal of tb old English village green with la dancing and music.
The Guides will be assisted by ti: Maori boys of St. Stephen's Colby who will contribute hakas and gymnastic displays. The chief commissioner for XewZetland. Mrs. W. R. Wilson, will be th guest of honour, and will take tfcs salute on the march past. It is expected that commissioners from a! parts of the Dominion, who will h attending the annual meeting on tfci preceding Thursday and Friday, tri! bo present.
