MEN ON PREMISES CAUSE OF BREACH
LICENSEE’S FINE
TRADING AFTER HOURS Press Association. ASHBURTON, To-day. At the Ashburton Police Court today Edward Doyle, licensee of the Chertsey Hotel, was fined £4 for selling liquor on a recent Saturday after closing time. Three men, who were found on the premises, were each fined £2. Mr. On* Walker. S.M., said that if he had the power he would have lined them just as heavily as the licensee, because they were the cause of the breach.
