DESPERATE STRUGGLE IN WAVES MAN AND RESCUER DROWNED By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 9.50 a.m. PERTH, To-day. While A. R. Gillow was fishing off Torpedo Rocks he was washed into the water. J. Armstrong went to his assistance, and had him nearly ashore when a big wave washed both back into the water and both were drowned. Fears are entertained for a third man who was believed to be in the party.—A. and N.Z.
