LON CHANEY IN “MR. WIT With strange China elephants, jadeencrusted josses from the Orient aac brilliant ornaments, a Chinese garder

and a section of a Chinese city were constructed in one of the most elaborate scenic undertakings in the history of a screen studio for “Mr. Wu,” Lon Chaney’s n e w starring vehicle to be shown to-night at the Edendale Cinema.

The scene, representing the L° n Chaney palace gardens of Wu. the sinister mandarin portrayed by Chaney, is ** exact duplicate of a Chinese garden, from magic walls designed v keep out the evil spirits to the &■' tering pagodas of Cathay. “Senor Daredevil,” featuring Maynard, will also be shown.
