INJURED BY FALLING BALE CASE BEING REHEARD The jury having failed to agree in the first trial last August, the rehearing of the claim by Frederick Hoy and Robert Lee Bennett, waterside workers, for damages against a firm of forwarding agents for injuries received while unloading the Wingatui at the Prince’s Wharf, was commenced before Mr. Justice Herdman and a jury this morning. While unloading the ship a bale of wool fell and struck each plaintiff in turn, inflicting severe injuries. They claimed .£SOO each from John Ernest Anderson and William Edward Webster, carriers. Mr. P. J. O’Regan, instructed by Air. J J. Sulllivan, appeared for the plaintiffs, and Mr. L. P. Leary lor the defendants. The case is
