NEW PARKING STATION

Covering an acre of ground, Cadman’s Parking Station. Ltd., in Grey Avenue, presents a dignified appearance. The area now covered by this station was, a short time ago, a mass of overgrown grass, and was used mostly as a rubbish deposit. The advent of the station has transformed the whole place. There is room for 250 cars, in a structure that is absolutely fireproof. The floor is of bitumen, while concrete pillars support an iron roof. Everything for the convenience of the motorist is available, from free air, washing down, to greasing, the latter being effected by a special pressure machine. There is the maximum of light and ventilation and the spacious station, wTuch was designed by Mr. A. Sinclair O’Connor, is an acquisition to the city.
