TALK ON JAPANESE COLOUR-PRINT EXHIBITS IyrORE than 1,000 Aucklanders have seen the Japanese colour-prints show at the Art Galleries. Captain Humphreys-Davies, who, together with Mr. H. S. Dadley, placed his collection at the disposal of the Library Committee of the City Council for public exhibition, will deliver a “talk” on the exhibits to-morrow night. Hotel Manager’s Theft.—Found guiity in the Supreme Court at Timaru yes-* terday of stealing from the Grosvenor Hotel, clothing, furniture, crockery and cash, to the total value of £122, Leonard St. Clair Thompson, late manager of the hotel, was found guilty and remanded till Thursday-for sentence.
